It will not fill, or fills very slowly. Inlet valve, or the screens behind the hose connections. Those screens catch sediment and almost nobody knows they exist — clearing them costs nothing and is often the whole answer.
It is leaking from the front. Door gasket, nearly always the lower fold where water and detergent collect. Worth catching early — a gasket leak reaches the subfloor long before you see a puddle.
Least likely — a deep rumble that rises with spin speed. Drum bearings. This is the one where we give an honest opinion rather than a quote, because the part is cheap and the labour is not.
