Baking has gone uneven since it was new, or after a repair. LG’s ProBake moves the convection element to the back wall rather than the bottom, so the heat pattern is different from most ovens. If the fan or that rear element fails, the oven still heats but stops circulating — and the result looks like an oven that has never baked properly rather than one that has broken.

The self-clean runs but the oven still looks dirty. Many LG ranges use EasyClean, a low-temperature steam cycle that loosens residue for wiping rather than burning it off. It is doing what it was designed to do; it is simply not the high-heat pyrolytic cycle most owners expect. We will tell you that rather than sell you a repair.

The oven will not reach temperature. Bake element, the igniter on a gas model, or a temperature sensor drifting out of true. A sensor ten degrees out never announces itself — it quietly spoils baking until somebody measures the cavity.

An induction zone will not detect a pan, or cuts out under load. Coil, the cooling fan beneath it, or the power board. A zone that works from cold and drops out once hot is pointing at cooling first.

A gas burner clicks but will not light. Igniter electrode, a blocked port, or the spark module. One module fires every electrode at once, so a single cracked igniter sets the whole cooktop clicking.

The touch panel is unresponsive or reads the wrong control. Control board or the panel itself. Worth diagnosing rather than repeatedly cutting power, because an intermittent board only gets worse.
